Write a 250-400 word personal narrative about how you or a relative of yours “broke through” and became a “butterfly.” Describe the barrier(s) faced, the struggle, and the final result. (“Paint a picture.” Describe who, when, where, what, how, why and think about the 5 senses: sight, sound, touch, smell, taste, to give good details). Who helped you to break through? How did you (or s/he) overcome the obstacles? How did it feel to finally overcome the challenges and setbacks? What did you learn from this experience?
